A MAN has been charged after an ambulance was vandalised in Bolton at the weekend.

Christian Tyldesley, aged 21, of Weston Street, Bolton was charged with criminal damage yesterday.

Police were called to St Matthew's Walk, Halliwell, at 12.50pm on Sunday, November 8, after a paramedic reported a tyre on a rapid response car had been deflated.

The car had also been covered in brick dust and the windscreen had been spat on.

Tyldesley is due to appear at Bolton Magistrates' Court on Thursday, November 19.
