BOLTON funnyman Peter Kay was a guest on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross last night.

Peter spoke of his nerves about returning to stand-up after a long break to work on other projects.

He recently announced a new tour — the Tour That Doesn’t Tour — at the MEN Arena next year. He smashed box office records, selling out 20 nights within an hour.

Yet, despite his huge popularity, he said: “It's been seven years, it’s still terrifying, you can't hide.”

Peter also talked to Jonathon Ross about his next project, a remake of Die Hard called Die Well Hard.

He said: “I’m deadly serious. I really want to make it, exactly the same.”
