A MAN pushed a burning car off his driveway to stop the fire spreading to his house.
He was alerted to the fire when the alarm of the Ford Mondeo went off at 2.30am yesterday.
He pushed the vehicle into his garden.
Firefighters were called to the house in Whitington Close, Little Lever, but the car was destroyed.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
