WARBURTONS claims it is the first company in Britain to trial a new eco vehicle from Mercedes-Benz.
The 4x2 Mercedes Econic tractor unit, which pulls the trailer, is currently on a six-month trial with the Bolton baker in a bid to reduce carbon emissions from its 1,000-strong diesel-powered lorry fleet.
