A MAN has died after collapsing at the wheel of his car.
Ian John Wilson, aged 52, of Captain Lees Gardens, Westhoughton, was driving along the A580 East Lancashire Road at Swinton on Monday afternoon when his Mercedes E Class veered across the carriageway and ploughed into traffic lights.
He was taken to Hope Hospital where he pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Police believe the man may have suffered a heart attack.
