I WAS shocked on seeing the recent article about "Antelope Ruined My Life", as I am the current owner of the Antelope Restaurant, which has recently opened after months of renovation.
We have entirely changed the building from what it had previously been, with some considerable investment, and created a restaurant which would proudly sit anywhere in the country.
The article does not reflect Little Hulton as it is now; we have been operating as an Indian restaurant and, for us, it has been a pleasure to have opened here. Suffice to say we had heard of the trouble in the area before we decided to take the Antelope on and were pleasantly happy to find that the locals were hospitable to us.
I would like to pass on my sympathies to Edward Harding on the loss of compensation claim, and would like to invite him and his family to experience the new Antelope - a far cry from the past that he remembers.
