FURTHER to last week's piece about the remote control and peoples names for it, 11 year-old Charlotte Woods from Adlington emailed to say that in their house they call it the Oobie-Doobie. Wickedly, she says that when her grandad got a new remote he gave her the old one. She promptly gifted it to her dad, telling him he could watch what he wanted - and sat back laughing as he fruitlessly tried to change channels with it!
