FRECKLETON 1, BLACKROD 0: Blackrod town returned home pointless from their away fixture at Freckleton.
After a goalless, but eventful first half, Freckleton took the lead on 50 minutes.
Blackrods response was positive and they controlled the game causing Freckleton to pack their defence for the remaining 40 minutes.
Blackrod Reserves beat Coppull United in a home fixture 4-2. Centreback Stuard Boddy scored two penalites supplemented by an excellent effort from Jack Southworth and Andy Morris.
