A CHARITY auction held by Rivington and Blackrod Sixth Form college raised £1,260 for cancer charities and victims of the Asian Tsunami disaster.
Prizes at the event, held in the run-up to Christmas, included tickets to see Elton John at the Reebok Stadium, day passes to Village Leisure and a trip to Fredericks Ice Cream Parlour.
