AS the majority of letters to the Bolton Evening News (including mine) are usually "moans", I thought I would write and express a letter of congratulations.
I was fortunate to be there on the opening night of The Pyjama Game, by St Phillips Amateur Dramatic Society, and it was absolutely brilliant. The stagecraft and choreography were excellent, and the acting was marvellous.
I can't even imagine how exhausting it must be to work all day and then put on a performance until 10pm each evening.
Congratulations to all those involved.
