I'M sure they are all jolly decent fellows but the highlight of the week for me was the news that the Sheffield Wednesday band will not longer play at home games after 13 years banging the drum.
That's a start. Now, if all the others can follow suit I will be able to enjoy football that little bit more.
There is no place for drums beating and trumpets blaring away at football matches.
They don't so much add to the atmosphere as hijack it, dictating when and what their fans sing and drowning the opposition fans' attempts to get behind their team.
