ALISON Moyet, currently celebrating the success of Voice, her recent Top 10 gold-selling album (more than 150,000 copies to date), has announced a forthcoming tour that takes in Manchester.

Called One Blue Voice, the tour, which calls in at the Bridgewater Hall, will feature Alison performing with an eight-piece band including a string quartet.

The material, which will feature new numbers, will also include songs from her acclaimed previous album Hometime and tracks, not performed live before, from her back catalogue. Songs such as That Ole Devil Called Love and Only Love can be expected. Prior to the tour, on Friday, March 25, Moyet can be seen performing Windmills Of Your Mind from Voice on BBC1's new series of The Two Ronnies.

On the same evening, she can be heard on Radio 2's Friday Night Is Music Night, performing six new numbers with an orchestra.
