SHAKERS goalkeeper Andy Marriott has signed for Torquay Unitedon an 18-month deal.
The 34-year-old was only on a short-term deal at Gigg Lane and now he has decided to cut his ties with The Shakers.
Manager Graham Barrow was disappointed to lose the former Nottingham Forest keeper.
"There is nothing I can do about it," he said.
"He has been offered a long term contract and as a club we just cannot compete with that."
Long-term injury victim Glyn Garner will return between the sticks for Bury.
