A WHILE back I signed a petition against the re-development of the Market Hall, but now I wish I hadn't.
The development is actually going to make new jobs for the people of Bolton.
I did think that market traders were going to be evicted, but a lot of them are being offered the chance to go into the new development along with compensation.
I was also led to believe that something awful was going to happen to the Market Hall, but I now understand that English Heritage are involved and that the building is to be fully restored.
My opinion has changed, and I now think the development will be great for the future of the Market Hall and the town.
