Wanderers cut admission prices for next week's FA Cup sixth round tie, even before they knew who they will be playing or when the game will be played.

They are hoping the price reduction will help them fill the Reebok on the weekend of March 12 and 13, when they take on Arsenal - spot kick winnersr over Sheffield United on Tuesday - for a place in the semi-finals.

This is despite a similar move pulling in a crowd of just over 16,000 for the fifth round clash with Fulham. When tickets went on sale on Monday, strictly to season ticket holders only, adult prices were £20 and £25 with children being charged £10 in all sections of the ground.

Wanderers were only been able to cut their normal Premiership prices, which range from £29 to £38 for adults in the two main stands, after consulting officials at Bramall Lane and Highbury.

"We negotiated with both Arsenal and Sheffield United to secure the lowest possible prices for supporters and because the income is shared with the visiting club all prices had to be agreed by both teams," Wanderers communications manager, Danny Reuben, said.

"We firmly believe we are offering exceptional value given that this is the quarter-final of the FA Cup. We have listened to our supporters and by reducing prices we hope to fill the stadium for this crucial fixture.

"The club is only two games away from appearing in the FA Cup Final for the first time since 1958, and Sam Allardyce has made it quite clear that he wants to achieve cup glory this season."

Season ticket holders have until Friday to claim the seats they usually occupy for Premiership games.

Holders of Lifeline or club memberships can buy tickets on Saturday and open sale starts next Monday.

Prices in the upper and lower tiers of the East and West Stands are £25 for adults, £23 for concessions and £10 for juniors and in the upper and lower tiers of the North Stand, £20 for adults, £18 concessions and £10 juniors.

Supporters can order their tickets by post with applications including a self addressed envelope and the correct remittance, over the phone 0871 871 2932, by fax 08718 718183 or in person at the Reebok Stadium.

Postal applications should be addressed to: Ticket and Membership Office (FA Cup Round 6), BWFC, Reebok Stadium, Lostock, BOLTON, BL6 6JW.

Cheques must be signed, dated and made payable to BWFC. A single transaction fee of £1.50 will be applied to all postal, telephone and fax applications.
