Manchester United captain Roy Keane has walked free from court after being cleared of assaulting a "lippy" teenager who swore at him in the street.
The football star had been accused of grabbing the 16-year-old round the neck, swinging a punch and shouting in his face.
After being cleared at Trafford Magistrates Court on Tuesday, Keane, aged 33, said he was "very relieved justice has been done."
He told the court he had simply told the lad to "watch your mouth" and denied manhandling the boy.
The Irish international made no reaction as he was cleared of common assault, criminal damage, and a public order offence following a two-day trial.
The boy who accused him of assault was described in court as an "attention seeker" who had admitted lying.
Keane clashed with the teenager while walking his dogs outside his £1.4 million in Hale, Cheshire, in September.
