I AM pleased that the Council is using undercover environmental officers in Horwich, to try to sort out the problems of the poop scoop cheats (February 24).
I wish the council would send one of their officers to Astley Bridge to find out who are the inconsiderate people who allow their dogs to use Newnham Street as a dog toilet.
Sometimes I pick my grandchildren up from St Paul's School. The pavement across from the school is full of dog dirt. It is a disgrace.
Dog owners of Newnham Street area, please clean up after your pets. Think of the children of St Paul's School who have to walk along the pavement every day to and from school.
