I HAVE been parking on the Octagon car park for years, displaying a disabled badge, then the parking was free.

Suddenly the goal posts were altered, making it illegal to park, unless in a marked bay.

Fair enough, if a sign had been displayed on entering said car park.

Receiving a parking ticket, my appeal was rejected.

Surely a mitigation fee of £10 would have been a fairer system, until parkers were aware of the changes.
