BLACKROD Town continued their mini revival with a comprehensive victory over fourth placed Fulwood Amateurs.
A goal in each half from Sam Cardwell earned him the Man of the Match vote, with Mark Height notching the other.
Fulwood posed no threat at all to a well organised Blackrod defence, and only a series of remarkable saves from Fullwood's substitute goalkeeper stood between Blackrod and a double figure victory.
Blackrod Reserves drew away at Garstang 3-3. Goals by Danny Ashcroft, Andy Morris and Neil Foster maintained the undefeated record of the new management team in a tough battle.
