A passenger who was injured after a car chase through Bolton has been released without charge.
The 16-year-old boy suffered minor facial injuries after the Nissan Almera he was travelling in crashed into a tree in Deane last Tuesday.
The teenager answered his bail on Monday, and a police spokesman said: "His bail has been cancelled and the teenager has been released without charge."
Police tried to stop the car last Tuesday because they thought it was stolen.
It sped off towards Deane Road before turning into Dinsdale Drive, where the driver lost control and the car overturned.
The 18-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle. He has been bailed until March 15.
