I CONGRATULATE your young reader, Gemma Philburn, for her youth of today letter, she certainly deserves an award for her commonsense and understanding of today's problem.
It is so true about most young people of today being undisciplined, ignorant and no manners whatsoever.
The law needs to allow parents, teachers, and the police to physically control these kids, and that is not abuse, but discipline, or is that more European rubbish we can't do?
Most problems arise because their parents know no better, just uninterested. Please and thank you are rarely heard, they are not taught to say it.
Please Ruth Kelly, get it corrected, and as young Miss Philburn comments, if this is the next generation - God help us.
