HAVING just received a leaflet on the recycling arrangements from Bolton Metro, I felt I had to voice my opinion on the contents to be collected in the green boxes.
Among the list to be recycled are food cans and foil trays!
The green boxes have no lids, and therefore I feel very strongly that this arrangement is very unhygienic and those contents will attract vermin (rats, mice, cats and dogs).
We are constantly being reminded about food trays and litter being dropped in the streets, and this arrangement is very irresponsible and very wrong environmentally.
