I WAS incensed when I read that Phil Gartside was "bitterly disappointed'' that 7,000 season ticket holders were among those who did not attend the Fulham match, and were therefore "a letdown to the team and themselves''.
I and my son are two of those season ticket holders who did not attend the match.
The reason - we were out of the country on holiday. I would imagine that many other season ticket holders were also away, as in case you were not aware, Mr Gartside, it happened to be half term week.
However, if you are willing to pay any fines l may incur for taking my children out of school, I will gladly attend every home match.
I made an effort to find a bar in the Algarve to watch the highlights on BBC and had previously contacted my parents that evening to find out the final score.
I may not have been at the Reebok in person, but, believe me, I was certainly there in spirit.
Well done to Big Sam and the boys on a great result. Cardiff, here we come.
