MR Gartside would do well to spend time trying to find out why more people didn't go to the tie by actually asking them.
Many comments I've read suggest that a large number of fans don't really feel part of the club.
To show the club does not learn, I bet they haven't a clue who the 16,000 fans that turned up were, or who went to Oldham and Ipswich.
The chairman should spend time trying to improve relations with the fans, and he may be surprised to find out that, whilst a factor, not everything revolves around money.
