A CALL has gone out for more lollipop patrol people in Leigh.
The service needs a boost after a drop in the number of people coming forward to man school crossings. Wigan's Road Safety Manager Julie Dagnall said: "We really want to offer the service to all our pupils. Some areas are desperately low for patrols and we just don't have anyone spare to cover illness or holidays."
