UNIQUE experiences and gifts that cannot usually be bought are being sought by a charity which helps hundreds of local patients each year.
The Brain and Spinal Injury Charity (BASIC) was started by Bolton businessman Derek Gaskell after his wife Dorothy underwent life-saving brain surgery at Hope Hospital.
It has now raised millions of pounds and local patients are among the many around the region who now benefit from a special BASIC unit at the Salford hospital.
On Friday, February 11, a special Valentine's celebration of Legends Live will be held in the Premier Suite at the Reebok to boost its work.
This will involve a glitzy performance of lookalike superstars, plus a three-course dinner and an upmarket auction.
But organisers would like to add a few more, unusual items to the auction and are appealing to local businesses and individuals to offer items and experiences that would not normally be available elsewhere.
Anyone who can help, or who would like to buy tickets, should ring 01625-890001.
