SLIMMERS have been sticking to their New Year's resolutions by handing over all their Christmas chocolates.
The 200 members of the Weight Watchers group in Horwich have lost 45 stones between them since the end of the festive period.
And they showed they are keen to keep that success going by donating five stones of treats to the Derian House hospice.Organiser Donna Knowles said: "Everybody has done fantastically well since we started up again in January.
"It's a good idea to get rid of any temptation to ensure they dont fall into bad habits."
The weight watchers meet at Horwich RMI, Chorley New Road, at 5.15pm and 6.30pm every Monday.
