EIGHTEEN months ago I left Bolton to live in Taipei, Taiwan. I wondered at the time that my new home might not be quite so developed and clean as my home in Bolton.
However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that rubbish is collected seven days per week in Taipei, and on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday they also have a special recycle car to collect anything from bottles & paper to old computer & electrical equipment. So by this example, who is more developed?
While other countries are moving forward, and actually consider the environment by offering services to make recycling EASY, this country is going backwards, and offers minimal, if any, recycling services in most areas.
