"BETTER than a Led Zeppelin Re-Union" - that is how international rock magazine Kerrang! described Letz Zep recently.

Letz Zep, who play the Albert Halls next week, have earned the reputation of being the only band with the ability to re-create the sound and spirit of what some believe to be the greatest rock band in the world ever, Led Zeppelin.

So much so, that Zeppelin front-man Robert Plant attended one of the band's gigs in London last year. He told Q Magazine he went along as he wanted to see how other people perceived him in his heyday, and he added: "I walked in, I saw me."

Interest in Led Zeppelin has hardly waned since the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980, and this is emphasised by the new Led Zeppelin compilation CD "How the West was Won" entering the USA Billboard chart at number one, and selling a staggering 150,000 copies in the first week alone.

Letz Zep, who will play many of the songs featured on their heroes' new release, are no pub band knocking out Zeppelin riffs, but a group formed by talented and respected musicians who are true fans intent on capturing the sight, sound and spirit of Led Zeppelin.

Letz Zep play the Bolton Albert Halls on Friday, February 4. Tickets are £10 on 01204 334400 or can be bought for £12 on the door.
