THREE teenagers were being quizzed by detectives after an elderly man was found dead at his home.
Officers were called to the house in Alder Court, Crumpsall, shortly before 3pm on Wednesday after concerns were raised for the man's welfare.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman added: "Officers forced entry to the property and discovered the body of a man.
"The incident is now being treated as a murder investigation.
"Two 15-year-old girls and one 14-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of murder."
Police refused to release the name or age of the victim and said forensic officers were still at the scene examining the body.
The body was expected to be removed later to allow a post-mortem examination to be carried out.
