A SECOND man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a father-of-one whose body was discovered in the boot of a burning car.
Stacey John Lloyd, aged 31, of Rippon Close, Whitefield, had been shot once in the head before his car was doused in petrol and set alight.
The 29-year-old man from Salford was arrested on Wednesday by police and was interviewed by murder squad detectives at a Manchester police station.
Earlier this week Graham Redford, aged 42, of Whittle Street, Walkden, appeared in court charged with the murder. Mr Lloyd's body was in the boot of his own Subaru Impreza when firefighters were called to Griffe Lane, Unsworth, Bury, at 10.30pm on January 16.
