ASTLEY & Tyldesley Cricket Club have signed 19-year-old Indian all rounder Suresh Raina as their new professional.
A&T have been in contact with Suresh since last year, when he was appearing for India U19s in the U19 World Cup. Then he smashed a quickfire 90 from 38 balls against Scotland.
Suresh is a left handed bat and off-spin bowler who plays for Uttar Pradesh in the Elite Divison of the Duleep and Ranji Trophies.
He currently tops Uttar Pradesh's run list, which includes Indian test star Mohammad Kaif.
