A MAN accused of murdering a Whitefield father was refused bail when he appeared before Bury magistrates on Tuesday.
Graham Redford, aged 42, of Whittle Street in Walkden, made his first court appearance charged with the murder of Stacey Lloyd, whose body was found in the boot of his burnt-out car on January 16. He died from a single bullet wound to his head.
Redford stated his name, address and date of birth to the court before speaking once more to confirm he understood the charge he faced.
An application for bail was made during the hearing, which took just over one hour. Redford was remanded him in custody until February 3 when he will appear at Manchester Crown Court.
