FIREFIGHTERS were called to four car fires across Bolton on Tuesday night.
A Vauxhall Astra estate was destroyed after being set alight in Avenue Street, off Chorley Old Road, at 7.45pm. Firefighters were then called to Bankfield Street, Deane, where a small commercial van was gutted by fire at 3.40am.
Police are also investigating a separate incident at Tonge Cricket Club where fire spread from a Peugeot 306 to a Vauxhall Cavalier at 4am.
Both cars were destroyed in the blaze.
