Looking Back has been asked to help in a quest to pass on photographs to relatives of Laurence (Lol) Royle, who died in a motorcycle accident in the late 1950s.
Brian Hodson, who lives at 43 Lower House Walk, Bromley Cross, Bolton, has multiple sclerosis.
His carer, Doris Taylor, tells me that Brian and Laurence both worked at Silcoms, Farnworth, and that Laurence was killed in the accident at the corner of Manchester Road and Weston Street.
His brother, Dougie Royle, who was the pillion passenger, survived the crash.
A third brother, Mark, who was married to Doreen, died in 1962.
"Brian has photographs which he would like to pass on," Doris says.
