A TRAVEL company will break the recruitment mould with a special broadcast this week.
Travel Counsellors, in Churchgate, Bolton, will broadcast a live programme over the internet to encourage experienced travel consultants to make the leap from the high street to join the firm - and work from home.
The webcast, tomorrow at 8pm, is part of a wider recruitment campaign which sees the company seeking rapid expansion this year.
The live show - thought to be the first recruitment webcast by a business in the UK - will have the same magazine-style format as the weekly TCTV programme.
Travel Counsellors broadcasts live over the internet every Wednesday morning to its team of more than 450 travel consultants, all of whom work from home.
The show, broadcast from head office in Churchgate, Bolton, will feature key members of the management team, including chairman David Speakman.
Travel Counsellors recruitment manager Christine Power said: "Working from home is not an easy option. You can't rely on customers walking through your door like a high street agent can.
"But for the right people, there is the opportunity to earn far more than is possible on the high street and also enjoy a better work-life balance."
