A HOLOCAUST memorial ceremony takes place in the Festival Hall at Bolton's Albert Halls on Sunday, starting at 3pm.
Senior pupils from Little Lever School will give the readings, children from Ladywood Special School will light the candles and a choir comprising pupils from St Matthew's, St Teresa's and Prestolee junior schools will sing.
The theme of the ceremony is, survivors, liberation and rebuilding lives.
The Mayor, Councillor Prentice Howarth, is inviting people in the borough of Bolton to join her for the ceremony.
On Thursday - Holocaust Memorial Day - the Mayor is lighting a candle in the Hall of Remembrance to mark the day. The candle will be extinguished at midnight.
