I AM a Boltonian now living in the North-east but still visit my home town regularly.
When I visit Bolton now it saddens me so much to see the ever present chewing gum sea.
In truth, Bolton is no different to any other place in the United Kingdom.
Maybe the answer is for chewing gum companies to fund the cleaning up process, or better still stop selling the blessed stuff, which truly is a social evil. If it was up to me I would ban it from the planet but, alas, it is not. So, sadly, we have to suffer it.
