ENGLAND internationals Steve Coote and Gary Cartmel were in top form and scored 180(6), 140 (12), 100(3) in a charity pairs exhibition in aid of St Ann's Hospice at Little Lever Working Men's Club, losing only one game of 701 out of 17 played to the outstanding pairs award winners Matt Christian and Jay Rawlinson (Stopes Tavern) 140 121 100(2).

In the St Ann's Hospice high score competition scores were: G Warburton, E Barrow, J Rawlinson, T Greenhalgh, D Walmsley, D Savery, J Ball, S Barlow, D Swindells 100, G Arstall 121, D Owen 123, S Osborne 133, N Davenport 135, S Simpson, J Warburton, M Christian 140 with the trophy going to Chris McTernan scoring two 140s. The match raised £150 for St Ann's Hospice.
