A VICTORIAN building in Astley Bridge has been saved from demolition by councillors.
Developer Fact Focus Ltd proposed to demolish Linwood, Seymour Road, and replace it with 15 apartments and 19 parking spaces.
After a visit to the site, the council's planning committee refused the application, saying they did not want to see such a building replaced.
