SAM Allardyce is refusing to be spooked into offering Jussi Jaaskelainen a new contract.
The Wanderers boss suspects recent speculation linking the Reebok keeper with Premiership rivals Manchester United and Middlesbrough has been sparked by an agent trying to negotiate a better deal.
"Nobody from any other club has enquired about Jussi," he said. "It's probably been dropped in (to the Press) by an agent -- as usual -- to create a stir to get him a new contract.
"It's the normal rubbish we have to contend with.
"Jussi Jaaskelainen is contracted to this club until 2007 and, if we give him a new contract, we'll do it in our own time."
