TEENAGE all-rounder Tom Smith and his brother Billy topped off an outstanding season for Chorley Cricket Club when they won four awards between them at the player of the year presentations.
Tom, who will be Chorley's professional next season, won both the batting and fielding prizes as well as the young player award while Billy took the bowling prize.
Tom, 19, has represented England at Under 19 level and has played for Lancashire 2nd XI.
He scored more than 1,000 runs for Chorley in league and cup games this season at an average of more than 42.
He also took an impressive 35 wickets with his pace bowling but was was pipped to the bowling prize by his younger brother, Billy, 16, who took 37 wickets.
The Second XI prizes went to Ian Mawdesley for the batting, veteran Ross Demming for bowling, while Jimmy Lee took the fielding prize.
The 3rd XI batting prize went to Rob Bridgford, the bowling prize to Howard Thomson and the fielding prize to Lawrence Ashworth.
Frank Henry was presented with the Dawber Trophy, awarded in memory of the late Alan Dawber, a long standing club member. Mr Henry received the trophy in appreciation of more than 40 years service to the club both as a player and coach.
