HOWE Bridge Church is preparing for a welcome weekend from October 22 to 24.
Christian rock group 'Flipside' will lead music workshops in the Atherton church school during the week, culminating in a concert in the Leigh Road Scout HQ on Friday, October 22, at 7.30pm.
This coincides with the village's environment week highlighted on October 23 with an exhibition from 11am until 3pm in the church featuring school work. Awards will be presented at 9.30am at the service at St Michael's and the community will join in a songs of praise service at 6.30pm.
