PEDESTRIANS and motorists on the Blackrod bypass will face serious disruption for three months.
Bolton Council is working to widen the carriageway, improve the footway and upgrade the retaining wall on the A6.
Traffic signals will also be updated at the junction with Station Road to include pedestrian crossings. The scheme is set to be completed by the end of December.
