AN outline application to build a two storey house in Astley Bridge has been approved by planning bosses.
The applicant wants to build the house on land next to Thorns Close. Four people objected to the proposals, because they believed the development would result in the loss of trees and wildlife, a new vehicular access on to the highway would be potentially hazardous, loss of privacy and it would be out of character with surrounding houses in the area.
