ATHERTON LR lost 4-1 at home by Fleetwood Town in the North West Counties League First Division.
Paul Crompton gave LR an 18th-minute lead from the penalty spot, but goals from Lee Catlow and Phil Thompson put Fleetwood in front, before an Alex Porter double sealed an away win.
Elsewhere in Division One, Atherton Collieries were beaten 3-1 at Glossop North End.
A second-half goal from Paul Monks was not enough to save Daisy Hill from a 1-2 home defeat against Flixton in Division Two.
