AN 87-YEAR-OLD woman has died after a road accident in Walkden.
Pedestrian Edith Thomson, of Holyoake Road, Worsley, was crossing Bolton Road near its junction with Campbell Way, when she was struck by a car travelling towards Farnworth at 12.35pm on Tuesday, August 10.
Mrs Thomson was taken to hospital but died in hospital last week.
Witnesses should call the Road Policing Unit on 0161 856 5073.
