IWOULD someone like to explain to me about the car parking fiasco at the Royal Bolton Hospital?
My mum has been in the hospital for four weeks now. I go almost every day, sometimes twice. All day parking for £1.40 -- someone is having a laugh. It is £1.40 for four hours! Wouldn't it be nice if I didn't have to pay twice on some days. I've also been handed an in-patient leaflet stating "all day parking for £1". It is £8.40 per week minimum for me at the moment and only four hours of parking.
When the multi-storey is built, will the fees be £2 for four hours? When your loved ones are in hospital, all you want to do is be with them. Try explaining to your poorly mum that twice a day visits are unaffordable!
