AROUND 60 youngsters from across the North and Midlands will compete in the National Crown Green Bowls Junior/Youth Merit in Bolton on Sunday.
The boys and girls, aged between eight and 17, will gather at Moss Bank Park for the competition from 10am.
Competitors from Furness, Lancashire, Wirral, Yorkshire and the Midlands -- together with a good representation from Bolton -- are taking part and will be split into three groups according to age. Contact David Kay on 07860 358 283 for further information.
Bolton are one of three teams level on points at the top of the Fox Lane Seniors Friday League with one game to play following last week's game.

Bolton teams resume their National League campaign on August 15. Bolton host Doncaster at Bar Lane, while Bolton A take on Doncaster A at Turton. Both games start at 2pm.
