A BRIDE and groom whose wedding will be shown live on TV have discovered what the menu for their wedding breakfast will be.

Bolton barber Darren Foster, aged 31, and his 23-year-old fiancee, Sam Lilley, from Hollins, Bury, are to have an opulent wedding with a Byzantine theme when they tie the knot in five weeks in Cyprus.

The "Byzantine" wedding breakfast will consist of asparagus tips followed by fillet of beef with Madeira sauce and a mousse laced with Drambuie. The wedding colours will be blue and gold.

Viewers have been voting on every aspect of the wedding since the couple were chosen to feature in GMTV's wedding of the year. They marry on September 3

Two alternative wedding breakfast options-- a Cypriot theme and an English theme -- were rejected by viewers of the ITV breakfast show.

Before the viewers' decision was announced the couple confessed to having a favourite.

Darren said: "We have got a favourite but we're not saying what it is."

There were hints that the couple may have preferred the Cypriot option as Sam said that they had tried rose petal ice cream, the dessert in the Cypriot menu, the first time they had been to Cyprus.

But when the winning theme was announced the couple seemed genuinely pleased with the Byzantine option, as Sam clapped her hands in the air and yelled "thank you" to viewers, saying it was "absolutely fabulous".

Viewers have already selected Sam's wedding dress, the groom's outfit and the exotic wedding venue.
